Windows 8 Launch Is Scheduled in October – Microsoft

Microsoft is scheduling to introduce Windows 8, a brand new operating system, somewhere in October, said Bloomberg on Monday. The Redmond-based organisation is scheduling to complete the OS building by April and anticipates having devices powered by Intel as well as ARM chips during launch time in the market. Microsoft will apparently have five distinguished ARM-powered devices, also 40 Intel-powered products at the time when the brand new Window 8 operating system will come in market that includes desktop tablets as well as desktop computers. One market analyst thinks, if Microsoft will not launch it products by the end of September or till October, than it will miss its deadline to launch the product in 2012.

“If Microsoft will miss its September or October month’s deadline, it is possible that they will be caught without any new launch in year 2012”, said Michael Gartenberg, a Gartner forecaster. The last thing what the firm wants to have is nothing but a condition where, there will be convincing Window tablets with similar looks of new iPad, and will treat consumers in holiday as an excellent seller. The Microsoft is likely to arrange an event in the month of April for its partners; however the date of the event is yet to be finalised. The freshly introduced Consumer Preview of Window 8 by Microsoft was downloaded in just 24 hours for more than 1 million times.
